Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for supporting Sylvia Brooks and her music. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Please read the following Refund and Returns Policy carefully before placing an order.

1. General Policy

  • We offer exchanges or store credit only within 30 days of delivery.
  • To be eligible, items must be returned in their original condition, unused/unopened, and with the original packaging.
  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item received was defective or incorrect.

2. Non-Returnable/Non-Refundable Items

Certain items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Signed CDs & LPs (due to personalization and collector value)
  • Opened CDs, LPs, or vinyl records
  • Digital downloads or online music access codes
  • Event tickets, bookings, and deposits
  • Final sale or promotional items

3. Damaged or Defective Items

  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item.
  • We will offer a replacement or store credit depending on product availability.

4. Exchanges

  • Exchanges are permitted for the same item (if available) or a store credit of equal value.
  • To initiate an exchange, please email sylviabrooks.net@gmail.com with your order details.

5. Refunds (If Applicable)

  • Refunds are generally not issued unless the item is out of stock or cannot be replaced.
  • In such cases, refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

6. Pre-Orders

  • Pre-order purchases are non-refundable.
  • Items will ship on or around the advertised release date. If your order contains both pre-order and in-stock items, all products may ship together once available.

7. Event & Corporate Booking Refunds

  • Deposits made for private performances, events, or corporate bookings are non-refundable unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
  • If an event is canceled by Sylvia Brooks, a full refund of the deposit will be issued.

8. How to Start a Return/Exchange

  • Your order number
  • The reason for return/exchange
  • Supporting photos (if item is damaged/defective)

We will provide you with the return instructions. Please do not send any product back without contacting us first.
